Erkennungsmerkmale

Der Larp-Fotograf ist kaum ohne Kamera am Wochenende anzutreffen. Seine Gewandung trägt er eigentlich nur noch aus nostalgischen Gründen in Erinnerung an die Zeit, in der er tatsächlich gespielt hat. Ausserdem dient sie, ähnlich wie Flecktarn bei der Armee oder das Loden des Jägers dazu, sich dem gemeinen Larper unbemerkt nähern zu können. Zum Spielen hat er heute keine Zeit mehr, stattdessen hastet er über das Spielgelände von Plot-Schlüsselszene zu Plot-Schlüsselszene immer getrieben von der Panik, den ultimativen Schuß des Wochenendes zu verpassen.

Den wahren LARP-Fotografen erkennt man an der Länge seiner Objektive. Je länger, desto besser. Zum einen kann er so aus sicherer Distanz das scheue Wild, die Larp-Spieler abschießen. Zum anderen kann er so deutlich machen, daß er jetzt wirklich nicht In-Time als Mensch mitten durch das finstere Chaos-Drow-Ork-Monster-Lager marschiert.

In der Endschlacht benimmt der Larp-Fotograf sich, als wäre er Capa auf Omaha Beach oder McCullin in der Schlacht von Hue.
